Who We Are

We are a Penang based 
manufacturer focused 
on textile related products and
work wear apparel.

In 1970s, a young man met a lady from the weaving production floor at a textile factory located in Penang, Malaysia.
They were like what people have been done in the early years, going through 15 years of common footsteps; going work for livelihood and coming home for family.  An opportunity arise then, they started a small business from fabric trading in 1978.  Because of their background from the textile factory and fabric knowledge, the business was soon expanded in 1983.  Years later, the man and the lady continued their efforts by observing the market trend; expanded the business to a wholesaler by providing high-quality textile products and added their business range to home textile retailing.  They soon caught another opportunity to establish a production based factory for apparel and woven fabric manufacturing.
Today, the couple has created a successful history and their story is still continuing...
They are the founder and co-founders of the company: Mr. S.S. Tan and Madam S.H. Ng.
Lippotex's story begin from here...

Lippotex Industries was founded in 1997, setting up at a small scale, light industry factory.  Lippotex produced sportswear and knits garments for export markets at the beginning of years.  Adapting the changes of market and world economy, we then expanded the products range to woven fabric clothing such as school uniforms and work wear for both local and export markets.  In 2003, Lippotex established a textile weaving division, producing a wide range of woven fabric for work wear, office furniture and industrial uses.

In June, 2007; Lippotex moved into the current factory located in Alma Penang, Malaysia.  The moving of the new factory has been a turning point in the company's milestone.  Lippotex started its step to transform to a more systematic and organized company which is leading the people, the company towards a better tomorrow.
